Safety Description:A storage hazard. Ultraviolet light causes exothermic decomposition. Reacts violently with rubber. Reaction with sodium hydrogen cyanamide forms the explosive cyanonitrene. When heated to decomposition it emits toxic fumes of Cl−. See also HYPOCHLORITES.
