Safety Description:Poison by ingestion and intraperitoneal routes. Human systemic effects by ingestion: acute renal failure, acute tubular necrosis, BP lowering, coma, convulsions, decreased body temperature, EKG changes, excitement, fasciculations, heart rate changes, hyperglycemia, increased body temperature, miosis, muscle contraction or spasticity, pulse rate increase, rigidity, somnolence. When heated to decomposition it emits toxic fumes of NOx and Cl−.
