Safety Description:Moderately toxic by subcutaneous route. Human systemic effects by ingestion and intravenous routes: nausea or vomiting, microcytosis (smaller-than-normal red blood cells), normocytic anemia (reduced red blood cell count), leukopenia (reduced white blood cell count), thrombocytopenia (decrease in the number of blood platelets), and other blood effects. Experimental teratogenic and reproductive effects. Human mutation data reported. Questionable carcinogen with experimental tumorigenic data. When heated to decomposition it emits toxic fumes of NOx.
